Our son got this when he was about 17 months old. He loves animals- we have two cats, and live close to a pet store ;)

It seems suitable for a range of ages; they will like just pressing buttons and looking at the pictures when they are smaller, and as they grow it can be a fun matching game. Our son at first thought just pressing the buttons were really fun. As he got a bit older, around 20 months, he was able to match the right pet with the right sound button. The sound is not too loud (good thing for parents!), and it's nice to have a number of buttons, not just one or two (like some other "sound" books we have). I think this is a nice book. Cute illustrations with lots going on on each page that you can talk and point to with your child.

Great book! Kids love it and its a great way to introduce animal sounds and talk about pets with the kids.
Love these Noisy books though the sounds on this one are a bit odd compared to the others in the series. My kid still enjoys it though
